Music from the Rooftop
Christmas is a festival which is very joyful and full of hope. This christmas sculpture project is organized by Moof company. The project is in a group of 4 which is me, Lim Yen Wern, Ahtirah Roslan and Tan Kar Chuan.
We designed our sculpture with an elf on the rooftop chimney because elf has always been a magical creature to kids and their very kind. Chimney is the pathway for Santa Claus to enter the house to deliver presents to the kids. So we had an idea of making the elf to blow a big saxaphone while waiting for Santa claus on the rooftop chimney. The presents and elements of christmas represents the music being blown which brings happiness and hope to people.
The whole sculpture is mainly being created by doing paper maches and underneath all this papers, the base is actually constructed by using bamboo sticks.
This Chistmas sculpture was made by my another 3 group members. we quite suffer during making this sculpture, because we think of design, size, and the material, it tooks us around 1 months to complete it. Everything is fully painted by arcylic and using recycle paper to make this.
